We train with a sense of purpose to develop the principles of 'Aiki' to resolve conflict rather than phyiscal power or direct confrontation. Honesty is the key to our practise, we strive to hone and refine the martial aspects of our techniques allowing them to remain effective but not destructive. Through diligent practice we learn how to work in harmony with each other and by co-ordinating mind, body and spirit we can grow as individuals. Our dojo provides a supportive and creative training environment based on tolerance, equality and ethical values which strive to communicate Aikido as the 'Art of Peace' to all who enter; ours is a dojo of conscious exploration. Students from all styles of Aikido are welcome to train with us as we are non-partisan in our approach. In keeping with the harmonious spirit of Aikido, we encourage friendship with other dojos.
